At IMANI, founded in 1999, our mission is to eliminate disparities within minority communities. With over 25 years of responsibly managing federal funding and a legacy rooted in civil rights advocacy, we are dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by minority populations. Under visionary leadership, we aim to make a positive impact both locally and globally. Our commitment to collaboration, innovative program design, and maximizing sustainability in minority-serving community-based organizations defines our approach. Environmental Justice

Changing climates are affecting us all, but some communities more than others. We want to educate our network about things affecting their stakeholders.

Capacity building for Community and Faith-based Nonprofits

Providing community-based nonprofits, churches and other faith-based nonprofits with tools to engage with federal and state funding and collect impact measures. 


Grants Management

Assisting community nonprofits in applying for federal grants.

Workforce Programs

Hosting unique workforce training programs for member organizations.
